#1.QUARTZ An International Banking Product.

The Project :
QUARTZ aims at developing an international banking product exploiting
the state of the art technology. It comprehensively covers the backoffice
and mid-office functioning and provides interface to front office.Thecore
areas covered are Business Relations,Bank Structure,Accounts Management,
Financial Accounting, Pricing Services, Risk Management, Payments and Funds
Transfer, Costing and Profitability, Financial Instruments, Market Information
and Security.
The
major business modules are Securities Trading, Foreign Exchange, Money
Market, Precious Metals, Credits, Capital Market, Portfolio Management,
Trade Finance and Retail Services.
The layered
architecture of the product exploits many technologies like Client Server,
GUI, RDBMS, OLTP, networking and Rule Base. The product has interface with
SWIFT, SIC and TELEKURS networks. The overall development effort is about
250 person years.
Responsibilities :
Designing , Coding and Implementation of the Client User Interface Screens
using Power Builder(4.0).

Local Bodies(ULB). ULB system maintains information of an assessment
number. The Object Oriented Methodologies are used to develop this information.

deals with periodic generation of demands for every half-yearly of
Financial year. System also deals with Appeal details
, Write-off details & Name transfer details of an
assessment. Revenue & Taxation
System is meant to support the taxation details of Urban Local
Bodies.

Description :
Network Custody & Clearing System
is being designed to meet the Custodial requirements of Standard Chartered
Bank's Equator Group in both scrip less and physical environment, incorporating
specific business methodologies of the 14 countries of south east Asia
where SCE operates using Client-Server and Object Oriented Methodology.
System deals with management of securities for their clients. Product is
generic enough to cater for scrip and scripless environment of this
area. The Network Custody & Clearing System is meant to support the
custody related business requirements of Standard Chartered Equitor in
both scripless and physical environment. It is expected to facilitate among
others:

income collection

corporate action administration
* client, management and regulatory reporting.

Description:The
product was developed using PowerBuilder 4 and Oracle 7 for Andhra Pradesh
State Bank, India. Customer Banking Service System (CBSS) is a complete
integrated tool, which spans across all the functionality of daily banking
to and for customers. Operations include, money withdrawals, deposits,
transfers, both through checks and pay-slip systems, inter-bank money transfers
and demand draft processing; also include a specific domain of loans to
the customers of the bank. Any Nationalized Bank in India can use
this generalized system.

across 158 acres of the serene suburbs of the State capital.
